There's an old saying that goes “if you want to become outstanding in your field learn from the best”. So, if you are a nurse who are the best nurses you know? If you are an educator who are the best educators you know? If you are a parent, who are the best parents you know? If you are a manager, who are the best managers you know? And, if you are a leader, who are the best leaders you know?
Then ask yourself what do the best in the world do that you don't. What do they know that you don't? What are they reading? What websites do they bookmark? What seminars and training do they attend? What conferences do they go to? Who are their mentors? How do they inspire themselves? How do they use their spare time? What do they care about deeply? How did they become the best?
So ask yourself....
· who are the best at what you do?
· what do they do that you don't?
· how good do you actually want to be at what you do - poor...good...great...fantastic or maybe world class?
